I JUST GOT A NEW TABLET - A WACOM INTUOS A4!!!!
My first baby, a Trust tablet, has been malfunctioning the past few months - the curser kept "jumping" and I couldnt make a straight line. It broke my heart when I realized I had to cheat on my baby, and get a newer model, as we've been inseparable for 3 years. But... well, when I got this superstar, Ive realized Im in love.

So yeah, if you are beginner get the Trust Tablet, its simpler to use and well... much much cheaper. With it I got into the world of graphics, got some nice jobs... Wacom, on the other hand, breathes quality - with all its extra functions, its what you upgrade to after a few years.

Now Im off to experiment with my new darling, it'll get steamy. :D

HEY ITS HALLOWEEN SOON!!! Isn't that awesome? Okey, 3 days of antibiotics left. Will. Do. This. Not. Go out meeting friends. Not until Saturday. I haven't been in town for 8 days, can you believe it. 8 days and I've taken like 3 walks around the house. Ive never been this split off from everything else.

I haven't even read the 7th book. Properly that is. I looked through parts, read the ending and decided that was enough. I can't believe she did it, I mean I suspected it, everyone did but I never thought she would go through with it. I mean give the guy a break. Pick on the other characters. He deserved a happy ending, I mean life can be crap but not THAT crap haha. Oh well, poor man, he deserves a pack of cigarrettes and a few cocktails. Seriously, R.I.P.

Now im off to read more serious stuff.

Okay guys, generally I'm one of those people who gets from the wrong side of the bed, and is wrong from the side of the bed for days. But these two weeks are like nothing comparable to any other misluck in my life.

One week before Rome, I had to layout 52 pages plus illustrate an entire front cover for a magazine. Not exactly bad luck, but very, very tedious. I was actually planning to cancel my trip to Rome and only in the last hour was convinced by my friends to go. I went having had slept 6hours in 4 days.
First day. Enormous fight with my friends, ending with a policeman in between. Once in a life time (hopefully) experience. Guys, never drink and quarrel. I didn't sleep that following night from stress, making it 6 hours of sleep in 5 days. Day two. Any (yumm, Italian) food I ate kept on jumping back up, drank around 7 litres of water, freaky like hell. Felt dizzy and sick the entire day. Day three - went to a Pub Crawl, ending up looking after a completely stone cold drunk friend, in the end carrying him to a taxi. Saturday - went to a reggae concert, saw 15minutes of it because I ended up tending to another stone cold friend (this time together with two others). Were chased by an ambulance (again, freaky like hell). The next day my new, beautiful shoes started to fall apart, and by the next day I was walking without a sole around the Spanish Steps. Had to kiss my planned visit to Gucci and CK megastores goodbye. The same day I got robbed of my remaining money, that's 130Euros including my wallet, bankcard, airplanebusticket and a bunch of other things. This was not going to stop me from buying my dream leather jacket... but wait, there weren't any more left!
And then I thought that surely it can't get any worse! Life is balanced not cruel, so a glorious week of only good luck must await me. After 3hours of sleep, my friends and I make our way to the airport and after sitting on the cold floor for 3hours waiting for a plane, it turns out its cancelled. And since we are flying with Ryanair, there is no promise of moneyback or a new ticket. By sheer chance we manage to get a ticket to Milan, from where we take another plane back to Stockholm with a two hour period in between. Happy, we scramble to the check-in where we read on the monitor that the flight is delayed, meaning that if we are unlucky (even more, that is), we won't make our flight back. Very nerve-wrecking considering none of has had any money on us for a new ticket. Luckily though, our Stockholm flight was also delayed by a good 2 hours so after spending 22 hours on travelling/sitting on the airport floor, I finally got home.
The next day my throat started to swell and the day after that I found I had a throat infection (which still prevents me from turning my head too far). And to top all of it up, after getting a cappucino, it turns out it had a fossilized insect in it (haha) and when I went back to get a new one, the coffee machine broke.

If I could I would whip out a pencil, and draw all of my frustration out but I can several projects and a test coming up so that's what I shall be doing.

Happy Valentines Day!

Spent the greatest evening with my boy-friends in Taco Bar protesting against the couples around us by having as much fun as possible being incredibly single (and happy, yes those two words can be mentioned in the same sentence haha). John Chris is the king of cappucino. Got the reddest lipstick imaginable from my one true love, thanks honey. :) And to my one-s and only boyfriends, a tapdance for taking me out for the best nacho's in town *taps away*

Bonn was terrific! I shopped till I dropped, renewed my closet and now I'm ready for more haha! Birthday on Sunday, must go to bar with friends... hmm :D the big 18.

Bad news is my immune system crashed and I've been sporting colds for 2 months now.

Sorry for the long absence, the good news I'm back. Mentally that is. Physically I'm flying to Rome tonight with my kickass friends.

It'll be fun and I need a break from projects and exams. This year was so far the toughest yet, infecting me with insomnia which I still haven't been able to shrug off yet. :D
My grades were good (I expected worse, and that gave me a good kick into the summer!). You get a free tap dance *taps away*

Bags still unpacked (will NOT cram entire wardrobe this time).

The only thing that doesn't seem to change is my love towards the 60's and 80's. Blondie, Boney M, The Clovers, Little Eva, Alice Cooper are still on my mp3 player.

Got a couple of commissions, will get to work on them as soon as I come back! :D
Anyway loads of love and sun. Gotta catch a plane!

p.s: I failed completely in not stuffing my wardrobe in a tiny bag.

This is my character - her last name is Jade. Her first name changes according to my mood. I am starting to juggle the regulars which is a start.

spending time with friends is one of the best gifts of life. Seriously. I can never think of a time when it was NOT fun. People rock.

After a Pressbyran ~~crappy~~ coffee I got home in a hyper spiffy mood and decided to draw something oooooh angsty. I spent almost 2 hours on this but that was mostly because I kept on changing it non-stop and I wanted it to look different from how I usually draw things... so ta-dam this is the result. Yeah tell me about it, the details are mind-blowing >__> but hey. I ve been goggling at super simplistic anime and loving it all the way.

afterwards? ~~got a cheap hotel and a couple of strippers~~

And oo work tomorrow - private art lessons with 2 kids.
It's so fun teaching people art. I would do it for free just for the love of it.

the top 10 winners of manga talangen are getting published in a small manga pocket. Each artist got an interview, so this ended up being my profile pic. I wanted to draw something in 2-year old style, but the problem is that only 2-year olds can draw that way. No matter how much I tried, it was obvious it was an adult drawing. WOW

Decided to take an hour today to scan some stuff in from my older sketchbook and ended up spending an ENTIRE day editing/finishing the illustrations up in photoshop.

Other good stuff: I got into the Top 10 Manga inspired comic entries in this large Swedish Comic Competition "MangaTalangen"!

My entry was a 17 page manga called "The Dreamer" (I already mentioned this) and can be seen at
http://www.cafeart.se I get loads of prizes, vouchers n cool stuff. The comic will be exhibited a bunch of places AND
published in a special edition manga pocket.

I also got an entire inside backcover for myself in Ponton (magazine). I was so surprized they published my
"Heart Spirit" in such a large format. I got my free copy in the post today.
